ROSS MILLARD
MIAT, BA Hons
Managing Director
Ross is an experienced professional with over 23 years’ experience working in connection with in vivo facilities (of which 9 years were operating at board level) and providing consultancy to the biomedical sector. Ross holds 2 Establishment Licences, covering facilities operating under AAALAC accreditation and UK Good Laboratory Practice regulations. He is a council member for Understanding Animal Research and member of the AS-ET Fundraising Committee.
TOBY SANDERS
LIFE SCIENCES DIRECTOR
Toby has over 17 years of experience working in the life sciences industry with the last 6 of these heading up Agenda’s Life Sciences division. As part of his role he is responsible for delivering Recruitment, Contract and Temporary Staff, Facility Management and delivering Consultancy in this sector. Toby is one of the key decision makers in setting up, developing and commercialising facilities, and as such has an excellent understanding of the licensing requirements for new and existing establishments.
STEVE KITCHING
FINANCE & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Steve is focused on driving financial performance and operational efficiency at Agenda. He has a track record of streamlining processes, optimising resource allocation, and implementing financial controls to mitigate risk. He encourages a culture of continuous improvement and innovation while overseeing all aspects of finance and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and supply chain management.
CHRIS WITHERS

Managing Director – Agenda Screening Services
With over a decade of experience in the pre-employment screening industry, Chris is the Managing Director of Agenda Screening Services Ltd. As a seasoned professional operating at the nexus of Operations, IT, Information Security, Privacy, Data Protection, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial domains, Chris specialises in providing the impetus for strategic and transformational change.
HENRI BETRAND
DVM, PhD, Dipl, ECLAM, Cert LAM, MRCVS
DIRECTOR OF VETERINARY SERVICES
As a specialist veterinary surgeon in laboratory animal medicine, Henri has worked at a number of high-profile institutions. Completing a residency program with the European College of Laboratory Animal Medicine in 2017, he also adds a PhD to his list of credentials. Working across a wide range of species and disease models, as well as collaboration on cutting-edge research projects, Henri continues to apply his wealth of experience and determination to continue to improve animal welfare.
ben acton
MRQA
DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY SCIENCE
A member of the Research Quality Association, Ben has expertise across the fields of regulatory compliance, oncology and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. He oversees governance processes and regulatory compliance across all Agenda Facility Management locations. He acts as Agenda’s primary liaison with all relevant UK regulatory authorities (e.g. ASRU, MHRA, APHA). Ben has extensive experience undertaking internal and external audits against a range of regulatory frameworks.
Robin Labesse
MIAT, RAnTech
Head of Facility Management
Robin has a wealth of experience in facility management having worked for 15 years in in-vivo research. Robin is an Animal Technician at heart and understands first-hand what a day in the life of a Technician is like. Robin actively contributes to the mission of the Institute of Animal Technology by sitting on council as chair of the Board of Educational Policy, he is also lead for the European Federation of Animal Technologists.

Megan is an experienced Recruitment Consultant, specialising in the Life Sciences industry. At Agenda she leads a team of specialised consultants dedicated to filling positions across a range of all levels from Animal Technicians to Directors and C-suite Executives.
christine deighton
head of contracts
Christine oversees the contract recruitment team at Agenda, focusing on specialised contract recruitment services for the life science industry. Providing critical support for a wide variety of contract staffing solutions and building meaningful connections between clients and candidates.

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Stuart is a highly motivated, multi-functional leader specialising in business operations and administration and events management. He has extensive, proven experience in establishing successful stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
